Loveable Wellies

This has been quite a week of rain and slush, so a great time to look into a pair of cute Wellies.  Our modern Wellington boot is based on leather Hessian boots from the early 19th century. First popularized by Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, they soon became fashionable among  the British aristocracy.

You don’t wear them often, and when you do, it’s usually glum, rainy and muddy.  So break away from sensible black shoes and go a little crazy with color and style. These are meant to be fun and bring a smile to your face!
