Las Vegas Market Trends – Part 4 – sustainable

Reclaimed wood, eco-friendly production, "green" fabrics — sustainability is a trend that will surely be with us for a long time to come.  Interest is growing among both manufacturers and consumers in how best to protect natural resources and minimize impact on the planet. Many exhibitors were showing their "green", but these caught my eye.

From the showrooms of Jaipur Home and Classic Home Furnishings.

And perhaps my favorite item from the entire Market was this gorgeous, organic, hand-pounded bark wallpaper from Caba.  My own pictures did not do it justice, and while these (from their website) are a little blurry, you can see some of the detail.  The woven and lace patterns can overlay a painted wall, or another layer of original style Barkskin. The textures are simply fantastic and the colors range from naturals to some dramatic brights.  I can't wait to try this paper!
