flower power — from the odegard collection

I definitely have a thing for side tables with character, and these are great examples. From Viya Home, the Stephanie Odegard Collection includes several organically inspired tables, but these three wield the strongest flower power!

My personal favorite, the sculptural beauty of this piece is undeniable.

Its more demure cousin, less a bloom than an bud.

furniture friday — from chelsea textiles

Despite 'textiles' in the name, Chelsea Textiles also has a lovely furniture line of ranging from Gustavian to mid-mod to lacquer. This one piece melds all those styles. The color is Gustavian, the styling is mid-mod and the legs are lacquer! Add it's curvy gorgeousness and the fact that, to me, it looks nearly a crib for coddling grown-up girls — I'm feeling the love!

furniture friday: the antidote to the boring side table

Sometimes I think if I see another boring square wooden side table, I will run screaming in the streets! There are so many creative options available to host a book and a beverage, why settle for the mundane? Here's a roundup of some lively options it would be hard to tire of.

furniture friday…from munkii

I can't even describe how much this bookcase delights me! From Munkii, it's traditional and modern all wrapped into one smile-inducing piece of functional furniture. The eggplant interior with the white lacquered exterior could not be easier to mix into an existing room in need of a statement piece. LOVE!
